TEACHERS
Ilana Turner, Owner
Ilana has been teaching Pilates since 1998, and has owned her own studio since 2005. A former pro figure skater, coach, and trained dancer who attended circus school, she brings a unique and creative approach to Pilates. Ilana loves working with all different types of bodies. She specializes in sport-specific Pilates, working with osteoporotic clients, and working with pre- and post-natal women. She has also adapted many Pilates exercises to support voice work for actors and singers.

Skating claims to fame: a San Francisco Ice Dance show with Kristi Yamaguchi, knowing what Brian Boitano would do (on ice, anyway), and leaving the rink ten minutes before Nancy got hit on the knee. Ilana coached at the Oakland Ice Center, and at the Lake Placid Olympic Center, where she also trained.

Previously, Ilana was the Pilates Director at Back to Total Health in WeHo, taught Pilates at the Beverly Hills Country Club, and at several San Francisco locations. She holds a B.A. in Theater & Dance from Hampshire College; Pilates certifications from ITT Pilates, The Physicalmind Institute, Buff Bones, Power Pilates (Pregnancy, Post-Natal Training), and Polestar. PMA certified. CPR + AED certified.
Jerin Forge
With a background in Dance and Musical Theatre, Jerin has always been a mover. Pilates became the natural progression to keep her body performance ready, flexible, and strong. So thrilled with her own results it became her passion to share this amazing form of movement with others.
Jerin is a graduate from the Pilates Sports Center Teacher Training Program. She is certified in Pilates Mat, Reformer, Wunda Chair, Cadillac, and Jumpboard. Her technique is a combination of Traditional and Western Pilates Methods learned from her Master Trainers Lora Anderson, and Nichole Martinez.

Jerin enjoys nothing more than helping others on their personal journey to discover their best body at any age. She will help build inner strength that will reflect outwardly. Her workouts are enlightening, challenging and fun. Jerin is described as caring, honest, and patient. It is her goal to help you reach yours.
